Woman Gives Birth to Incredibly Heavy Baby

A woman in the San Luis Valley, CO, got quite the natal surprise this week when she gave birth to a baby that came a little bigger (and earlier) than expected. Parents Alisha Hernandez and Francisco Garcia had been signed up for a C-section for Thursday, December 5, and were expecting a 7-pound bundle of joy. Instead, the mother went into labor on Monday, and (via C-section, thankfully) gave birth to a baby that was 22 inches long and a whopping 13 pounds and 13 ounces.

The average weight of a newborn is around 7.5 pounds, which makes Mia Yasmin Garcia the heavyweight champion of newborn babies.

Baby North West pretty in feathery outfit

WOW. North West is certainly coming into womanhood a lot sooner than we imagined.

In a photo together, the two took the streets in complimentary outfits, while Kim dressed in all grey and the toddler in plush, fashion-forward black. North West undoubtedly stole the attention of paparazzi, as Kim followed the lead of her glamorous gal.
