Statues Family Fun Game

Kids love to dance like crazy but when the music stops they have to freeze into statues! See who laughs or giggles first.

What you need:

Music

Activity:

Have the children spread out in a room.

Start the music and the children can go nuts dancing and being silly.

Stop the music and all of the children must freeze in whatever position they are in.

Watch the children for any movement - the first person to move goes out.

Then restart the music and repeat until only one person is left - the winner!

Egg and Spoon Race Family Fun Game

Your kids will love the classic egg and spoon race as they learn to balance and co-ordinate their egg to win!

Number of players:

Not Limited

What you need:

teaspoon 
eggs - preferably hard boiled or golf balls

Activity:

A race of balance and co-ordination, the egg and spoon race is a classic game that will have kids laughing right up to the finish line!

Arrange  the children at a start line with an egg and a teaspoon each.

When you are ready to start the race, ask them to place the egg onto their spoon and then place their other arm behind their back.

When you say go, the children will race - as fast as they can without the egg rolling off the spoon - to the finish line.

If the egg falls, the child starts again!

Whoever crosses the finish line first with their egg still balanced on their spoon and an arm behind their back, wins.

Pass the Ornament Family Fun Game

Ho, Ho, Ho! It's time to get up close and personal with this hilarious game of Pass the ornament. Get the kids in fits of laughter as everyone attempts to keep the Christmas ornament under control. Play with the whole family!

What you need:

Ornaments of various shapes and sizes

Bowl

Activity:

Divide the players into teams.

Place a bowl for each team on a table across the room.

Give the first players an ornament to place under their chin. The teams must pass the ornament from the first player to the end of the line using only their chins and chests – no hands or arms allowed!

Once the ornament has reached the last player, that player runs to the front of the line and drops the ornament in the bowl on the table.

The first team to finish wins.

Grab a Gift Musical Chair

Holiday season are filled with music so why not bring some fun and games to them as well! Grab a gift musical chairs is a great way to entertain both the kids and adults so everyone is a winner here!

What you need:

 Small gifts wrapped in at least three layers of wrapping

 Christmas music

  CD player

Activity:

Place chairs in a circle. Put a gift on each chair.

Each child then takes a seat in one of the chairs and places the gift on his lap.

When the music starts the kids start passing the presents to the right until the music stops.

Each child removes a layer of wrapping from the present he is holding when the music stops.

When the music starts again, the kids pass the presents to the right again until the music stops.

When the last layer of wrapping is removed, each child gets to keep the present in his hands.

Everyone is a winner with this game.
